- Preformatted TextThis tag is used to display all the spacing exactly as it appears in the source code. Tabs, spaces, line feeds, etc., will all show up. (HTML tags will not.) However, the font will be monospaced.
You must type the closing tag, </PRE>
at the end of the text you want preformatted.
Note: You may not put <IMG>
, <OBJECT>
, <BIG>
, <SMALL>
, <SUB>
, or <SUP>
within the <PRE>
tags.

This attribute restricts the width of the preformatted text box. The value is given in characters, so width=10 would cause all lines over 10 characters to wrap. This attribute is not widely supported.
